Top-seeded sophomore Maverick Lin dropped only one set this season on his undefeated march to Thursday’s NJSIAA singles championship match at Mercer County Park.

Heading the lineup for Highland Park High School boys tennis team for a second season, Lin lost a set to South Brunswick’s Dylan Karchere-Sun in the regular season, and came back to beat him in straight sets to capture the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament first-singles title.
